As temperatures begin to rise across Delhi NCR, Puffy Woof launched a summer initiative focused on helping stray animals stay safe, hydrated, and cared for during the harshest months of the year. In partnership with local vendors and community supporters, we donated over 30 large-sized water bowls to be placed across different parts of the city for stray dogs and other animals in need. The bowls are being positioned in accessible outdoor locations across neighborhoods, markets, and community areas to provide a consistent source of water for animals struggling to cope with the extreme summer heat. During peak summer months, dehydration and heat exhaustion become serious risks for stray animals, making even a simple bowl of clean water incredibly important. This initiative is part of our larger commitment towards supporting animal welfare efforts across Delhi NCR. Alongside setting up water stations, we also continue to support the ongoing care of old, blind, injured, and paralyzed dogs living in shelters. Our efforts additionally extend towards sponsoring vaccinations, medical treatments, recovery support, and other essential healthcare needs for animals requiring urgent care and long-term assistance. On 31st January 2026, Puffy Woof proudly participated in its very first community event — Snow Pawty, hosted by RAK Animal Welfare Centre. More than just a pet event, Snow Pawty was an adoption drive centred around a message we strongly believe in: adopt, don’t shop. The event created a warm and welcoming space for rescue animals to meet potential families, while encouraging conversations around responsible pet ownership, adoption awareness, and creating a kinder future for animals in need. The event brought together animal rescuers, adopters, pet parents, volunteers, and members of the wider community, all united by a shared love for animals and a commitment to improving their lives. From adoption interactions to awareness conversations, Snow Pawty highlighted the importance of compassion, community involvement, and giving rescue animals the second chance they deserve. Through Project Meher, we came across a dog who instantly stole our hearts — Magoo from Mumbai. With his tongue always out, his playful energy, and the happiest little face, Magoo has a way of lifting spirits the moment you see him. Despite being completely blind and living with an injured limb, he is incredibly full of life — always ready to play, pose for pictures, and spread joy wherever he goes. He carries a kind of resilience and happiness that instantly makes people fall in love with him. Meeting Magoo was a powerful reminder that dogs do not measure life by limitations. They continue to love fully, trust deeply, and live joyfully despite the challenges they face — something truly inspiring to witness. To bring a little extra comfort and happiness his way, Puffy Woof sent Magoo one of our newest harnesses along with toys for playtime and enrichment. With the support of our friends at Chiku Designs and Paw Skies, we also contributed treats, goodies, and essentials for Magoo and the other dogs being cared for through the organisation. Project Meher does incredible work advocating for blind, injured, abandoned, and vulnerable dogs — helping provide them with safety, medical care, rehabilitation, and most importantly, love.
